How Zammler Kazakhstan reduced operating costs and staff turnover with Prosper Pay?

Amid dynamic business growth, we at Zammler Kazakhstan are actively implementing innovative solutions to increase process efficiency and improve working conditions. One such solution was the integration of the Prosper Pay service, which automated advance payments and significantly reduced the workload on the accounting department, accelerated the payment process, and increased employee satisfaction.

Business Growth and New Challenges

We have been operating in the international logistics market for 18 years, and have been present in Kazakhstan since 2020. During this time, our network has expanded to seven cities, dozens of warehouses and offices, and the number of employees has exceeded 2,000. Rapid business growth requires effective solutions to optimize processes and create a comfortable work environment.

We are always on the lookout for cutting-edge technologies that help us not only improve operational efficiency but also enhance the well-being of our employees. Prosper Pay has become an important tool in this strategy, helping us reduce employee financial stress and streamline internal processes.

noted Andrey Perepelitsa, CEO of Zammler Kazakhstan.

How Prosper Pay solves our problems

One of the key goals of our HR department is to reduce employee turnover and attract new employees. We have already implemented corporate transportation, free meals, and flexible schedules. However, the financial issue remained pressing: many employees face unexpected expenses, and the traditional advance payment system was limited and required complex approvals.

We found a solution in the form of Prosper Pay—a service that integrates with our accounting system and allows employees to independently request an advance at any time via a mobile app. At the end of the month, the advance amount is automatically deducted from their salary.

Optimizing processes and reducing the burden on the accounting department

We began testing Prosper Pay in November 2024 with one warehouse, and then gradually expanded to other divisions.

Previously, due to high workload The accounting department was strictly limited to 10 employees per month from a single warehouse, with advances issued according to a strict limit. As a result, just over 100 applications were processed monthly, and some employees simply couldn’t receive their advances on time. Connecting to Prosper Pay lifted these restrictions and simplified the process: after just three months, the number of advances increased to 826 per month, and the workload on accountants decreased significantly. Employee financial security and reduced microloan use

Our employees quickly appreciated the benefits of the service. Initially, we expected no more than 20% of our staff to use Prosper Pay, but within the first few days, 50% of our employees signed up.

Thanks to Prosper Pay, our employees have a convenient tool for managing their finances without having to resort to microfinance organizations or borrow from friends. This not only improved their financial stability but also reduced their money-related stress.

To monitor employees’ financial well-being, we introduced restrictions: no more than four advances per month, and the amount should not exceed 40% of their salary. This approach helps avoid situations where employees are left without funds at the end of the month.

Implementation Results and Impact on Employee Turnover

The launch of Prosper Pay has already shown positive results. At two pilot branches in Almaty, employee turnover has decreased by 40% and 29%, respectively. The time to hire new employees has also decreased, as improved working conditions have become an additional factor in employee attraction.

We continue to implement technological solutions and improve processes, making the work environment as convenient and efficient as possible for our employees. Prosper Pay has become one of the successful cases that confirms our strategy of using advanced technologies in HR management.
