What you will be doing:
- Carrying out the full range of product packaging operations
- Monitoring packaging quality and product compliance with the established requirements
- Preparing packaging materials, packing goods, labelling them and performing quality control
- Preparing products for dispatch or storage
- Keeping records of packaging materials and monitoring their use.
What we look for in candidates:
- Knowledge of packaging materials and equipment: The ability to work with various types of packaging materials (film, paper, boxes, labels, etc.) and to operate the relevant equipment.
- Packing: The ability to pack goods neatly and correctly in line with the requirements, including compliance with safety rules and preservation of cargo integrity.
- Quality control: Checking that packed products meet the established standards and requirements, and identifying defects.
- Labelling: Applying labels and markings to packed products.
- Teamwork: Cooperating with colleagues and coordinating actions to complete tasks.
- Attentiveness and accuracy: Precision in packing, with no errors or damage to goods.
- Responsibility: Completing duties on time, following safety rules and keeping goods intact.
- Working with a PC and specialised software: Entering data, using inventory management software and generating waybills.
- Knowledge of warehouse processes: An understanding of logistics and of the rules for storing and moving goods in a warehouse.
- Compliance with health and safety rules: Knowing and following safety rules when handling cargo and equipment.
- Quick adaptation to tasks: The ability to switch between different types of goods and tasks.
- Organisation of the work process: Effective planning and completion of tasks, and meeting deadlines.
