What you will be doing:
- Accounting for import operations and foreign trade activities.
- Accounting for sales of goods and logistics services.
- Handling settlements with customers and monitoring accounts receivable.
- Accounting for settlements with suppliers and monitoring mutual settlements.
- Preparing and submitting reports to the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Taking part in the preparation of tax and financial statements.
- Taking part in closing the reporting period and checking that accounting entries are correct.
- Checking that primary documentation is completed and recorded correctly.
- Carrying out reconciliations with counterparties and monitoring mutual settlements.
- Standing in for the chief accountant during their absence.
What we look for in candidates:
- Higher or vocational education in accounting and finance.
- At least 3 years of experience as an accountant/deputy chief accountant.
- Confident knowledge of 1C:Accounting 8.3.
- Knowledge of the accounting and tax legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Hands-on experience with imports and foreign trade activities.
- Knowledge of the sales and customer settlement areas.
- Experience preparing and submitting reports to the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Knowledge of the main areas of accounting.
- Attentiveness, responsibility, analytical thinking and the ability to work with large volumes of information.
