What you will be doing:
- Managing all processes: receiving, warehousing, storage, picking and dispatch of goods
- Arranging goods rationally to optimise the use of warehouse space
- Ensuring that orders are fulfilled and delivered on time
- Monitoring the movement and safekeeping of inventory items.
- Organising and carrying out inventory counts
- Complying with occupational health, safety, industrial hygiene and fire protection rules
- Organising the work of warehouse staff, allocating shifts and supervising their work
- Administrative and facilities activities
- Liaising with suppliers, clients and other divisions
- Working with documentation, preparing reports and maintaining the established reporting
- Taking part in developing and introducing new technologies and warehouse work rules
What we look for in candidates:
- The ability to independently organise all warehouse operations, from receiving and placing goods through to dispatch and record-keeping, as well as to ensure the safekeeping of goods, compliance with safety rules and the management of staff
- Experience in warehouse logistics. Retail chains or companies providing warehousing services are preferred
