ZAMMLER GROUP together with the Chinese operator East Line form the first China-Ukraine container train, which will carry goods with electronic equipment on batteries, battery-powered toys, scooters, etc. The train will depart from the Chinese city Changsha (Hunan Province). This station is one of the few in China that receives and dispatches goods with batteries and accumulators (except electric cars) and the only one from which the train will go directly to Ukraine.
“Such goods are considered dangerous and are usually transported by sea – which is almost twice as long as by rail. Transit delivery time by train – about 25 days, while by sea – about 1.5 months,” – said Catherine Boboshko, head of sales FS, FA group of logistics companies ZAMMLER.
Date of departure of the train from Changsha station 18.04.
The collection of applications is already open, but the number of places is limited, because this is the first test trip.
In Ukraine, the train arrives in Kyiv at the Lisky station with the possibility of further delivery “to the door” of the recipient.
It will be recalled that the direct China-Ukraine container train has been running since the summer of 2020. In 8 months, 20 direct trains were formed from such points as Nanchang, Jinhua and Jinan.
